The winery

The Fontodi winery is one of Tuscany’s flagships and has long enjoyed cult status worldwide. The organic winery, whose owner Giovanni Manetti is also president of the “Consorzio Chianti Classico”, produces top-quality wines year after year.

The highest ratings, up to the famous 100/100 Parker points, are now the rule rather than the exception here.

The estate’s vines grow mainly in the famous Conca d’Oro, the heart of Chianti Classico south of Panzano. They are cultivated on the best calcareous clay-slate soil with an optimal slope and free from pesticides and herbicides.
