Ridolfi

The traditional Ridolfi winery is located in the heart of the picturesque Tuscan countryside around Montalcino, around 300 meters above sea level. The winery is up-and-comer of the year 2021 in Italy’s most important wine guide, Gambero Rosso. The wines are now rated extremely highly and offer an almost unbelievable price/enjoyment ratio. The vineyards, which are cultivated according to organic principles, are all located on the climatically privileged north-eastern side of the Montalcino hill and are interspersed with highly mineral Galestro rock. Ridolfi’s winemaker Gianni Maccari, who earned his spurs at the exceptional Poggio di Sotto winery, ferments the wines gently, slowly and exclusively with natural yeasts from the vineyard.
