Collector’s wines & rarities

Fine rarities are stored for many years and have had time to develop their full potential. For anyone who collects wine or deals with mature wines, every purchase is therefore a matter of trust.

All our wines are stored in air-conditioned, temperature- and humidity-regulated deep cellars. The following applies to our direct imports from Italy: wherever possible, the wines are transported in climate-controlled conditions. We try to reduce transportation times to an absolute minimum. From the winery cellar, the wines often reach our own cellar within 24 hours.

We attach great importance to selling bottles whose origin we can trace. The bottles come from our own storage, sometimes for decades, or from professionally stored collectors’ cellars. Where possible, we have personally inspected the storage conditions on site so that we can present great wines to you in the best possible condition.

The global wine market is gigantic and continues to grow. Even if 80% of the bottles produced end up in supermarkets and discounters, there are still an infinite number of wines for the interested connoisseur, making it difficult even for connoisseurs to find their way around.

Traditional Wine has therefore set itself the task of offering, alongside mature wines and rarities, a deliberately small selection of excellent wines from very special winegrowers who stand out as beacons from a sea of producers and who therefore deserve our special attention.
