It is fascinating how the coolish calcareous slate terroir of Fl\u00e4sch and Malans interplays with the richness and ripeness of the fruit as well as the choice of the barrels. This is also a perfect match on the palate, which is rich and complex as well as elegant and even refined, leading to a salivating finish that reveals lemon bitters, mineral freshness, fine tannins and a long, abnormally complex finish.
