The winery
Chateau Ferreyres is located southeast of the town of St Emilion with vineyards directly below the St Emilion appelation.
Silex, i.e. flintstone, is the basis of the vineyards and, in combination with the Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties, it produces a deep, complex Bordeaux with fascinating fruit and an incredible price/performance ratio.
